The student will also have knowledge about the process of digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and alcohol, and major metabolic pathways for the extraction of energy from nutrients. The metabolic regulation, through control of the enzymatic activity, and mediated by hormones, it will eventually fundamental training objective.to provide knowledge about the biochemical properties of macronutrients, micronutrients and non-nutrients found in food, o on food and nutritional characteristics of pathological effects due to incorrect nutrition.
