Learning Objectives

The course aims at the knowledge of important authors of the Spanish-American Literature; a further aim of the course is to develop critical awareness and interpretation of literary texts.

Detailed Course Content

Through a selection of literary works and critical essays, the course includes the study of significant authors of the Spanish-American literature and of the literary procedures they use. It will go into depth with the way Mario Vargas Llosa uses narrative techniques in his dramas.
