Detailed Course Content

This course identifies the specific models and tools for the cultural transmission during the V-XV centuries; it marks the span of intervention of the public powers in the educational process; it investigates the political-social function of culture already in the Middle Ages.

Mod. A: Culture and knowledge transmission in the Middle Ages (4 credits).

Mod. B: Men and women of culture in the Middle Ages (2 credits).
