Learning Objectives

Basic principles of the constitutive behavior of the masonry material. Global mechanical behavior of masonry structures. Study of the local behavior of masonry structural components. Static and seismic analysis of an existing masonry building by means of FEM software for structural analysis.


Course Structure

87 hours, 9 CFU, 42 hours of lectures, 45 hours of exercise

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.
