Learning Objectives

Pharmacologic bases of theurapeutics and first-aid drugs
Pinciples of drug action, mechanisms and kinetics of drugs , side effects and drug toxicity, importance of the individual variability in the response to drugs, inflammatory mediators and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, analgesia, opiates, anesthetics, neurotransmitters and neuromodulators of the central nervous system with some selected classes of drugs, abnormal, idiosincasic, allergic responses to drugs, pahrmacovigilance, drug-tollerance, drug- dependence, drug asbuse, neuromediators and neuromodulators and selected drugs, at risk patients, drug therapeutic index, first-aid drugs
FIRST AID SCIENCES - ANESTHESIOLOGY AND RESUSCITATION Module
Know the neurological problems of the critical patient, define the levels of consciousness and sedation, define brain death, know the phases of anesthesia and the basics of cardio pulmonary resuscitation.

If the teaching is given in a mixed or remote way, the necessary changes may be introduced with respect to what was previously stated, in order to comply with the program provided and reported in the syllabus.

Pharmacologic bases of theurapeutics and first-aid drugs
Pinciples of drug action, mechanisms and kinetics of drugs , pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, drug targets, superfamily of receptors, ion channels, enzymes, transporters of drugs, concepts of agonists and antagonist, properties , ED50, therapeutic index, ADME: drug absorbtion, distribution action and metabolims and drug excretion, drug toxicity , individual variability in the response to drugs, genetic and environmental factors involved in individual variability to drug action,, inflammatory mediators and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (FANS) and steroidal drugs, endogenous opioids , opiod receptors, analgesia, opiates, anesthetics, Na+ channels and local anesthetics, pharmacological properties and side effects, neurotransmitters, and neuromodulators, sinthesis, metabolism of neurotransmitter mechanism of drug actions at monoaminergic synapses, adrenergic receptors, colinergic receotors, dopaminergci receptors, serotoninergic receptors and selected drugs, the neuromodulation, paracrine and autocrine mediators, endogenous cannabinoids, the pharmacovigilance, collateral effects, abnormal, iodincrasic, allergic responses to drugs, first aid-drugs, the concept of pharmaco-depenence and abuse, at risk patients, pharmacological interventions,
