• Neurology
  

  The basic objective of the course is to provide graduates with scientific knowledge in the field of neurological diseases, with particular reference to the main neuro-ophthalmological conditions, a fundamental prerequisite for the acquisition of diagnostic and rehabilitative skills.

  If teaching is provided in a mixed or remote mode, necessary changes to what was previously stated may be introduced, in order to respect the planned program reported in the syllabus. Verification of learning can also be carried out electronically, if required.

• Diseases of the Eye and Visual System
  

  to provide knowledges on the pathophysiology, symptoms and signs of the diseases of the eye and of the visual system in children and adults

  to give expertise in clinical diagnosis, functional and instrumental semeiotics, medical and surgical therapy.

Course Structure

• Child Neuropsychiatry
  

  Frontal teaching and discussion of clinical cases. Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

  Examination will be by oral examination. Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

Detailed Course Content

• Child Neuropsychiatry
  

  The course is aimed to introduce the student to understand the physiological trajectories of development in the child with typical development with respect to those observed in children with developmental disabilities.

  The student will acquire competences in the diagnostic procedure of the most common neuropsychiatric disorders in infancy, childhood and adolescence. He will learn about diagnostic criteria, psychometric evaluation and therapy in different childhood neuropsychiatric diseases.
