The course aims to train the student on:
- most common anesthetic techniques
- principles of acute and chronic pain therapy
- management of the main cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and environmental emergencies
- principles of disaster medicine
Furthermore, the course aims to teach the student the main resuscitation techniques (BLS, PBLS)
To obtain basic knowledge on principal surgical emergency diseases: intestinal obstruction, peritonitis, gastrointestinal bleedings and abdominal trauma
provide students with the basic knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and their applications and clinical indications with particular reference to the professional field of their interest
THE COURSE WILL ENABLE STUDENT TO ACQUIRE SKILL IN OSERVATION,EVALUATIONAS WELL THE METHODOLOGIES AND TECNIQUE USED IN THE CRITICAL AREA.
