Learning Objectives

• PSICHIATRIA
  

  Providing the fundamental concepts of psychiatry with particular reference to the description of the clinic and therapy of major psychiatric disorders;

  Providing information on psychiatric legislation and on the main risk factors of self and other- directed aggression

• Psicologia Clinica
  

  The course aims to provide a general overview of the fundamental concepts of Psychology and the psychological aspects of suffering and disease. In particular, the course aims to provide the student with the acquisition of the communication and relational skills necessary to adequately manage the therapeutic relationship and evaluate the symptoms that present themselves on clinical observation, trying to grasp also the underlying existential meaning.

• Child and Adolescent Neurology and Psichiatry
  

  Knowing the basics of mental illness with early onset in childhood and adolescence and their course in adulthood.

Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

• PSICHIATRIA
  

  Psychiatric semeiotics: aspect, motor activity, facial expressions, language, behavior, psychiatric history

  Psychopathology: attention, consciousness, memory, perception, thinking and affectivity, aggressive and violent behavior, will, and psychomotor activities, intelligence

  Classification of Psychiatric disorders: ICD, DSM

  Clinical pictures, Diagnosis, Differential diagnosis, course, therapy of:

  Neurocognitive disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar and Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Feeding and Eating Disorders, Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders, Somatic Symptom and Related Disorders, Dissociative disorders, Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders, Personality disorders

   

  Psychiatric legislation

   

  Psychopharmacotherapy: drugs used in therapy of anxiety, depression, psychosis, neuro cognitive impairment, mood stabilizers

• Psicologia Clinica
  

  The history and origins of mental illness, starting from a perspective that looks at the human being as an effect of the social system in its complexity. The function of the mother and the role of the father in the development process. Neurosis, psychosis and perversion: diagnosis and orientations in the therapeutic relationship.
