Detailed Course Content

NURSING MEDICINA GENERALE
The trainee should acquire the following knowledge and skills:
- how to perform intramuscular, intradermal and subcutaneous injections, venous blood sampling
- how to carry out and manage: peripheral and central venous catheters, bladder catheterization, administration of oxygen therapy, execution of evacuative or medicated enemas, management of nasogastric tubes
- how to transport biological material
- correct positioning of the patient
- how to perform the correct partial and total cleaning of the patient
- how to recognize patients at risk of immobilization syndrome and preventive, curative and rehabilitative measures for the management of pressure sores
NURSING CHIRURGIA GENERALE
In addition to the skills and knowledge already detailed in the Medical Area Nursing program, the trainee should acquire the basic notions and skills for the correct execution of elementary sutures and their removal.
