The course aims to provide students adequate knowledge and basic skills in the area of psychiatric science.
At the end of the course student should:
1. be able to recognize and frame the main psychopathological symptoms;
2. know the recent classification of mental illnesses;
3. know the main therapeutic interventions in psychiatry (psiychopharmacological, psychotherapeutic, eehabilitative);
4. have acquired a bsic knowedge of psychiatric legislation and of organization of mental healthcare in Italy.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.
