1) Introduce and guide the student to the knowledge of the pathologies of surgical interest to the physiopathology, to the symptomatology to the main diagnostics, to the surgical therapy.

To orientate the student to learn the fundamentals of the major and most frequent cardiovascular diseases, integrating the pathophysiological study with the clinical methodology, the diagnostic procedures, and the pharmacological treatment directly and indirectly related to the practice of dentistry, in order to understand the indications of the pharmacological therapy of systemic pathologies, the interferences with the dental therapies, and their optimal management.
Frontal and/or telematic lessons and simulations. Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus. Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.
