Application in the biomedical field of physical knowledge concerning: Fluid Mechanics, Thermometry and Calorimetry, Error Theory and Measurement Methods, Electromagnetism, Ionizing Radiation, Diagnostic Imaging Methods.
The aim of this course is to introduce the basic concepts of descriptive statistics , to learn and acquire skills in relation to the collection , the description, the interpretation and the use of probability distributions in an appropriate manner of the data collected on a collective of patients or other experimental units.
The course develops skills in health promotion and prevention of infectious and chronic degenerative diseases, health and the environment with particular reference to the effects of pollutants on air, water and soil and their effects on public health; in particular the effects of environmental determinants and lifestyles on maternal and child health.
The History of Medicine aims to provide the student in Medicine with the contents and paths of the evolution of medical thought over time, to contribute to the acquisition of knowledge and useful references to the present, with the aim of enriching the culture of student in Medicine and to make it useful heritage for research, clinic and assistance.

Frontal lessons with the active participation of the students in the resolution of problems, tutorials
Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
The exam is normally written , consisting of multiple choice tests and/or exercises
Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.
Frontal teaching in the classroom with the help of electronic material made available by the teacher.
If the teaching is given in a mixed or remote mode, the necessary changes may be introduced with respect to what was previously stated, in order to respect the program envisaged and reported in the syllabus.
