Il corso si propone di migliorare le abilità ricettivo-produttive e le conoscenze della lingua Inglese inerenti l'area infermieristica per permettere a professionisti nel campo della salute di lavorare in modo efficace e sicuro anche in un ambiente multietnico o anglofono
In modo specifico il corso mira a sviluppare le quattro abilità con un'enfasi sulla comprensione scritta e orale e il potenziamento delle conoscenze del lessico specifico
Per raggiungere gli obiettivi programmati, saranno svolte lezioni in presenza con attività basate su scenari giornalieri in ambiente infermieristico: ascolto di materiale autentico, compilazione di tabelle, lettura di testi e articoli di carattere scientifico, role plays e group works

Facing accidents and emergencies (first aid, giving instructions, describing and assessing pain, signs and symptoms of shock)
Monitoring the patient (taking vital signs, describing readings, signs and symptoms of hypothermia, general anaesthetic)
Medication ( types and forms of medication, dosages)
Infectious diseases and hygiene (routes of transmission, adjectives to describe symptoms, a hygiene report, pandemics)
Nutrition and eating-related problems (diabetes, eating disorders)
