Learning Objectives
The course aims at strenghtening the basic linguistic skills of the English language, with particular attention to scientific language (specific terminology of the health professions). Students will learn to develop the ability to use the English language and to exchange general and specific information in their field of competence.

Detailed Course Content
Integration of the four basic skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) and use of the language in different situations on topics of general and scientific nature with an appropriate register and with argumentative and personal reworking skills. Ability to decode a text.
