Learning Objectives

The course aims to analyze developmental psychology issues, with particular attention to early childhood and adolescence. Specifically, attention will be to the complex dynamics that can influence the growth of an individual in the various developmental stages.

Frontal teaching and laboratory activities.



Detailed Course Content

Development of basic psychological, cognitive, emotional, and motor functions.

Development of language and communication skills,

Moral and social development,

Theory of the mind,

Educational contexts of development, and multiculturalism,

Critical aspects of development,

New addictions,

Special educational needs in the school,

Assessment and intervention modalities.

Supplementary: Bullying and cyberbullying.
