Course Structure

Contemporary English analysis
The 36 hours in the teaching room (the total of the two modules, each of 18 hours) will take place over 18 classes of two hours' duration according to the timetable established at the beginning of the firt semester. The first module will be devoted to diachronic linguistic analysis and the second one will deal with translation theory and practice. The course will also include a 50 hours' module aimed at developing language skills.language skills

Contemporary English analysis
The first module will be devoted to the evolution of the English language from Old English to Contemporary English including recent issues related to metrolingualism and Urban English.
