In addition to the general aspects of lung function, the main etiopathogenetic, pathophysiological and clinical characteristics of the most common respiratory diseases will be treated, making prevalent reference to those relevant to the Degree Course
The course aims to promote the understanding of the main thoracic diseases of surgical interest. Moreover it will open the students to the mechanisms that characterize the body's pulmonary regulation of cancer including the main etiopathogenetic, pathophysiological, clinical characteristics, diagnostic and surgical therapy of the most common thoracic surgical diseases making prevalent reference to those relevant to the Degree Course of Medicne and Surgery.
