Learning Objectives

• MODULO I
  

  The course will provide to the student the necessary skills for a full comprehension of the functional complexity of the human organism and the relationship between the different anatomical structures and their function to provide a rational basis for student's practical activity. At the end of the course, the student must be able to understand the morpho-functional anatomy of the digestive, respiratory, urinary, male and female genitals apparatus as well as the endocrine system and the fundamental principles of topographic, radiological and clinical anatomy to apply these knowledge to medical practice.

  The course will provide students the necessary knowledges to understand the functional complexity of the nervous system.

  The specific objectives of this module include comprehension of central and peripheral nervous system organization, structure of the nerves and their course, organization of the main sensory and motor pathways, structure of the eye and ear

Detailed Course Content

• MODULO I
  

  Basic knowledge and of organs microscopic structure of the folowing apparatus:

  • Respiratory system: nose, larynx, trachea, primary bronchi and their ramifications, lungs, alveolus' structure.
  • Digestive system: buccal cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver and pancreas. Peritoneum.
  • Urinary system: kidneys, urinary tract excretions (calyces, pelvis, ureter), bladder, male and female urethra.
  • Male and female genital system
  • Endocrine system

  • structure of nervous tissue
  • organization of the central and peripheral nervous system
  • organization and course of the spinal and encephalic nerves
  • main sensory and motor pathways
  • organization of the autonomic nervous system (sympathetic division and parasympathetic division)
  • structure of visual apparatus
  • structure of hearing apparatus
