Responsibly apply the professional, ethical and communicative skills aimed at involving and listening to other professional figures in the team, in order to act in respect and in the interest of the hearing impaired patient.
Learn the clinical procedures and methods underlying the decision to implement an audiological rehabilitation program through hearing aid in pediatric and adult patients.
Perform personally, under the supervision of the tutors, the choice, supply, adaptation and follow-up of the acoustic devices according to the application protocol foreseen by the Code of ethics of the Hearing Care Technician.

Individual internship activities to be carried out at:
• Outpatient clinics of the ENT clinic of the "Vittorio Emanuele" University Hospital - Department of Medical, Surgical and Advanced Technologies "G. F. Ingrassia "- University of Catania.
• Acoustic Center agreement with A.N.A. with affiliated tutor A.N.A.P.

.Perform, under the supervision of the healthcare personnel, the complete audiometric instrumental assessment for the purpose of prosthetic application;
• Carry out the proposition of the cognitive interviews and the subjective assessment questionnaires of the hearing disability;
• Perform the CUE impression taking;
• Carry out the procedure necessary to select, apply, adapt and verify the acoustic devices, to choose the appropriate acoustic coupling;
• Select the acoustic devices necessary to correct the patient's hearing impairment in relation to the electroacoustic requirements of the devices and the person's subjective needs;
• Identify the faults of an acoustic device;
• Fill in the technical data sheets for the supply of hearing aids through S.S.N.
