Develop communication and relationship skills oriented both to listening to the hearing impaired patient and caregivers and to a synergistic multidisciplinary team work.
Support and collaborate with health personnel throughout the entire diagnostic-instrumental assessment process for the purpose of defining the residual auditory dynamic field of the hearing impaired subject.
Support and collaborate with the tutor in the choice, supply, adaptation and follow-up of the acoustic devices according to the application protocol provided by the Code of ethics of the Hearing Care Technician.

Individual internship activities to be carried out at:
• Outpatient clinics of the ENT clinic of the "Vittorio Emanuele" University Hospital - Department of Medical, Surgical and Advanced Technologies "G. F. Ingrassia "- University of Catania.
• Acoustic Center agreement with A.N.A. with affiliated tutor A.N.A.P.

Support and collaborate with healthcare personnel for the complete audiometric instrumental assessment for prosthetic application purposes;
• Support and collaborate with the Tutor in proposing cognitive interviews and in the administration of subjective assessment questionnaires of hearing impairment;
• Support and collaborate with the Tutor in taking the CUE footprint;
• Support and collaborate with the Tutor in carrying out the procedures necessary to select, apply, adapt and verify the acoustic devices, and to choose the appropriate acoustic coupling;
• Support and collaborate with the Tutor in predicting the electroacoustic requirements of the hearing aids necessary to correct the patient's hearing disability;
• Support and collaborate with the Tutor in detecting the type of failure of an acoustic device;
• Support and collaborate with the Tutor in the compilation of the technical data sheets of the hearing aids provided via the SSN.
