The course aims to provide students with the necessary skills to fully understand the functional complexity of the human organism and of the relationship that exists between the different anatomical structures and their function. The student have to be able to acquire a correct anatomical terminology and developing those interpretative skills. The specific training objectives of the discipline are divided into: know the anatomical terms to describe the different regions of the body and the mutual relationships that exist between them. Topographical relationships between the various organs. The macroscopic and microscopic characteristics typical of each organ.
Knowledge and skills to acquire:
Knowledge of organism function, from basic molecular mechanisms to the function of cells and whole organs, as well as organ functional integration in complex beings.Knowledge of all the subjects included in the program below. Ability to analyze and synthesize subjects, understanding mechanisms in details and subsequently summarizing functional finalities. Ability to expose subjects clearly and extensively. Understanding that a full knowledge of Physiology subjects is essential to exert a profession in medical fields.
