Learning Objectives

• Neurosurgery
  

  To understand epidemiology, classification, clinical features and diagnostic approach to the most common neurosurgical diseases. To gain experience about clinical correlation between neurosurgical diseases and eye disorders.

• Infectious Diseases
  

  The course aims to provide basic informations on biological, microbiological, pathogenetic, clinical aspects of the most relevant eye infections

• neurophthalmology and disease of the visual system
  

  provide basic knowledge about eye's diseases and retina's diseases and optic nerve

  Frontal teaching; practical training and seminars to be held in the Neurosurgical Unit, Policlinico "G. Rodolico" University Hospital, Viua S. Sofia 78, Catania
