The course aims to deepen the main political, economic and legal events related to international relations in the contemporary age.
Lectures
The course consists of two parts.
In the first part, it will deal with international relations from the birth of the Concert of Europe until the end of the first world war, with special reference to international law, European colonialism, the role of public opinion in international relations and the rise of international cooperation between the two world wars.
In the second part, the student will have to deepen international relations in a specific historical period, choosing from among:
