Learning Objectives

Provide students with an up-to-date outline of the trends of contemporary cinema, with particular insights dedicated to the theoretical debate, and to the so-called cinema of the real.



Detailed Course Content

The course is bipartite. The first module deals with general issues, with specific references to the contemporary theoretical debate. The second module is dedicated to a study on the so-called cinema of the real.
