Course Structure

The course consists of 14 hours of lectures.



Detailed Course Content

The course aims to provide students with intermediate language skills in medical-scientific English, and is divided into two teaching modules. The first module aims at the acquisition and / or review of grammatical, syntactical, lexical and phonological knowledge of the English language. The second module aims to introduce the basics of the medical vocabulary and to guide the students towards the analysis of written and oral texts based on the contemporary medical language in English.

The course starts with an entrance test in order to evaluate the initial knowledge level of the attendees and to orientate the teaching in a targeted and functional way to the real needs of the students.
