The course aims to deepen the knowledge on the pathophysiological mechanisms of the main endocrine-metabolic diseases correlated to pregnancy and in some clinical conditions of adulthood and the role of diet in their prevention and treatment.
The aim of the course is to integrate diet therapy with the nutritional needs of both pregnant women, taking into account those that may be the risks, infectious or behavioral, which are subject to an erroneous diet, both of affected women. from diseases such as endometriosis, ovarian polycytosis or thyroid diseases
Lectures and / or discussion of clinical cases and / or papers and / or individual research carried out by students individually or as group work
Lectures will mostly be lectures, assisted by the use of video and slides. These are interactive lessons in which the student can discuss with the teacher for any clarification. To ensure better learning, each lesson will provide students with the slides of the next lesson.
