The student will acquire the essential knowledge on biosynthesis, properties, biological interest, applications and examples of industrial syntheses of bioactive natural products. Basic knowledge of interaction with receptors and enzymes, xenobiotics metabolism and nutraceuticals in food and beverages will be also required.
