Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and embryology of the endocrine and metabolic system; biochemistry of hormones and intermediary metabolism; mechanisms underlying the development of endocrine, metabolic and andrological diseases and pathogenesis of complications; prevention, diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases (including the endocrinology of childhood and puberty, endocrine and endocrine-dependent tumors, endocrine disorder of elderly and endocrinology and pathophysiology of human reproduction), congenital and acquired andrological diseases (including disorders of erectile function and sexuality, prevention and care of infertility and related to assisted reproductive technology) and diseases of metabolism (including congenital metabolic forms, childhood diabetes, gestational diabetes, prevention and treatment of chronic complications of diabetes mellitus, obesity, lipid disorders, and metabolic bone disease); diagnosis and tretment of metabolic emergency conditions
