This course offers some insights on growth theories and development issues. Together with some basic knoledge on macroeconomics concepts, long run growth is addressed. After an overview of the Solow model and edogeneous growth thieories, it will be proposed Acemoglu-Jackson's approach (2013) to understand the positive role of inclusive institutions in economic growth and development process.
