Learning Objectives

Scenery
The aims is to give professional ability in the theatre spaces project and in performance organization in non theatrical spaces, through contamination: technological transfer from other fields
Architectural Design
The course aims to face the stage project beginning from the theatrical space that sets ties and diversified possibilities to entertain shows that are planned on dramaturgical choices of vision. For this purpose the attention is set on the possibilities of transfer the show from open spaces like the ancient theaters to "teatri all'italiana", appreciating the modification possibilities of scenery.

Scenery
The course tries an integrated approach that reports the theatrical space to the temporary (scenography) project.

The contemporary scenography has suffered deep due changes both to the constant contaminations from the world of the visual arts, and the "reduction" of the complexity of the theatrical place that has also brought the show in the industrial sheds, churches, urban spaces with a dilution of the spectacular place, both to the use of innovative technologies that they have influenced the stage art aiming at effects that condense the plurality of the environmental characters and define the place in wich build a strategic continuity between stage and audience.
