Learning Objectives

Acquire an in-depth knowledge of some architectural contexts, particularly of medieval and modern times, in the framework for the architectural history in Europe; strengthen the critical tools and methods for the study of architectural production.



Detailed Course Content

The program aims to propose a course in the history of architecture, particularly Italian, from the high Middle Ages to the beginnings of Gothic and from the Renaissance to the Twentieth century, through some emblematic cases.
