Learning Objectives

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE

The course intends to introduce the student to the reading of the history of the school and of the educational institutions through the use of methodological and critical tools offered by the annalistic and post-annalistic historiographic tradition. At the end of the course the student must possess a critical knowledge on the correspondence between political mandate, pedagogical theories, school legislation and educational practices.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

Knowledge of the main educational theories and practices.

Mastery of specific language.



Detailed Course Content

The course is divided into three modules: the first will focus on methodological issues; the second, will provide an overview of the history of the Italian school, the third will focus on the role of work within educational institutions.
