Learning Objectives

The aim of this course is to provide the basic knowledge about social phenomena, such as attitudes, attribution, prejudice, etc.. In addition, we will provide the basic knowledge about methodology of psychosocial research and data analysis.



Detailed Course Content

The program provides exhaustive study of some of the most important basic concepts of social psychology: attribution, prejudice, stereotypes, social categorization, social identity, attitudes, norms, social influence, conformity, aggression, conflict and cooperation.

With regard to methodology of psychosocial research and data analysis, we will study: phases of the research, variables, research designs, control methods, methods of data collection, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
