Students will have to: reconnect some historical and epistemological references on special pedagogy; problematizing the transition from integration to inclusion; to construct concepts and / or unifying ideas on the objects of study; recognize differences, learning difficulties and special educational needs; know tools and strategies to organize resources for an inclusive education; to develop pedagogical sensitivity towards diversity.
Historical notes on historical developments and on the epistemology of special pedagogy; references on the most widespread disabilities; support for people with disabilities; school tasks between individualized design and inclusion; anthological readings; inclusion policies in Europe and in Italy; life paths for disabled people.
