The course aims to recover the meaning and the function of educational institutions, both public and private, during the Middle Ages
This course identifies the specific models and tools for the cultural transmission during the V-XV centuries; it marks the span of intervention of the public powers in the educational process; it retrieves data which allow to identify peculiarities and contents of gender education.
