Learning Objectives

The course aims to provide students with the knowledge about the main institutions of labor law. This time through the analysis of national legislation and because of the key supranational case law relating to the various issues addressed. Among the objectives pursued it is worth noting the possibility to deliver to students the ability to master and use the sources and legal instruments in labor law with a view to train specialists in human resource management and work organization. Among the skills that the student should be able to develop with this course, it is certainly significant that related to the ability to be able to orientate in the interaction of the multiple sources of law with a view to facilitating their integration into the working world. The specific educational goals can be summarized in the acquisition of knowledge in the various fields of the company's contracts both public and private, in charge of managerial skills, to evaluate performance within companies and public administrations and the virtuous management of patterns of relationships union.

The sources of the labor law ; the employment contract ; flexible types of work ; the Jobs Act; The public employer and the private employer ; the employers' powers , Personnel management ; the performance management cycle; performance measurement ; the termination of an employment relationship ; equal treatment between men and women ; labor relations ; collective bargaining ; the right to strike ; the strike in essential public services.
