It’s a working progress course in which language progress is impossible without students' active participation (the students will be asked to practice their reading, listening and speaking skills without forgetting a bit of writing)


Prerequisiti richiesti

A basic knowledge of French is requested - A2/B1 level



Contenuti del corso

The French Language course aims at developing general French language skills and at providing a good level of knowledge in Francophone culture from a geographical and political point of view. Studying French will give the students an appreciation of the global diversity of the French speaking world and help them cultivate a critical approach to information.

MODALITÀ DI VERIFICA DELL'APPRENDIMENTO

Final exam (two parts) Students are required to write a paper in French on a topic of their choice relating to the Francophonie and discuss it on the day of the exam. They will be asked to talk in French about the course outlines taking a critical look at the content.

1. Quelle est la différence entre la Francophonie et la francophonie?

2. Qu'est-ce que l'OIF? Pourquoi peut-on affirmer que c'est une Organisation Internationale qui compte aujourd'hui?

3. Que sont les Sommets? De quelle manière ont-ils évolué depuis leur création? Choisissez des sommets particulièrement importants dans l'histoire de l'OIF et analysez leur contenu.

4. Parlez des pères fondateurs et du rapport avec la France.

5. Analysez les différences et les points communs de l'OIF et du Commonwealth des Nations.

6. Quelles sont les modalités d'adhésion des pays à l'OIF? Rappelez l'intervention de la Secrétaire Générale Louise Mushikiwabo et sa politique d'expansion de la Francophonie.

6. Donnez les raisons pour lesquelles certains pays comme l'Algérie n'appartiennent pas à l'OIF alors que certains autres qui ne sont pas francophones y ont adhéré?

7. Donnez les définitions de français langue première; français langue seconde; français langue étrangère; français langue officielle et langue co-officielle puis proposez un exemple de pays dans le monde pour chaque situation.
