Learning Objectives

To acquire knowledges on the philosophical, political and religious debate in early modern age Europe.

To develop skills to critically understand philosophical and historiographical interpretations of the early modern age philosophical texts.

Detailed Course Content

The course consists of two modules: A (5 ECTS) Philosophy, politics and religion in the European culture of the early modern age. B (1 ECTS) Machiavelli.
