GERMAN LANGUAGE AND TRANSLATION 3

The course lasts the whole year and aims to develop linguistic, communicative and cultural skills, as they are defined in the European portfolio, level B2/C1. Both the lessons and in the practical workshops will be focused on the improvement of:

- linguistic and grammatical skills,

- the vocabulary and the communicative skills,

- general and detailed reading and oral comprehension,

- text analysis,

- interpretation and translation of different kinds of written texts,

- culture and civilisation of the German speaking countries.

The course includes lectures (more theoretical), and exercises (essential for learning a foreign language) carried out with the help of native speaker.

- C. Di Meola, La linguistica tedesca. Un’introduzione con esercizi e bibliografia ragionata, Bulzoni Editore, Roma 2007 (only the chapter: “La linguistica testuale”, p. 191-219).

- Reader with tales in German langauge (30 pages). It will be available on the portal Studium.
