Il corso ha l'obiettivo di fornire una dettagliata conoscenza teorica ed applicativa che consenta agli allievi di procedere al dimensionamento dei principali impianti termotecnici, con particolare riferimento:
- agli impianti di generazione e distribuzione del calore, per usi civili, industriali e per la generazione di potenza;
- alle tecnologie del freddo, per applicazioni civili ed industriali
- all'analisi ed alla caratterizzazione dei fabbisogni energetici per la climatizzazione degli edifici
- agli impianti deputati alla climatizzazione degli ambienti civili
L'insegnamento verrà svolto mediante lo svolgimento di lezioni ed esercitazioni in aula o, qualora le condizioni lo richiedessero, in modalità mista o a distanza.
Corso di Fisica Tecnica
Lo studente è tenuto a frequentare almeno il 70% delle lezioni del corso. L’iscrizione al corso è obbligatoria sul sito studium.unict.it.
1. Richiami di Fisica Tecnica sui cicli termodinamici per la generazione di potenza e per la refrigerazione e sugli scambiatori di calore.
2. I combustibili, la combustione ed i prodotti della combustione: energia termica, fumi, ceneri e principali inquinanti.
3. Le fornaci ed i generatori di calore per applicazioni industriali e per la generazione di potenza. Tecnologie e sistemi di combustione per i generatori di calore.
4. Impianti frigoriferi e pompe di calore a compressione di vapore e ad assorbimento per usi civili ed industriali.
5. Principi di Cogenerazione.
6. Caratteristiche dell'involucro edilizio e relativi riferimenti normativi per l'analisi energetica dei fabbisogni di climatizzazione. Principi di benessere termoigrometrico. Impianti di climatizzazione per gli ambienti civili: principi e criteri di dimensionamento.

L'esame consta di due parti: uno scritto ed un orale. All'orale si è ammessi previo superamento della prova scritta. Sia lo scritto sia l'orale mirano a verificare la capacità dell'allievo di discutere ed argomentare gli aspetti teorici della materia e di risolvere i problemi pratici e/o progettuali. Nel corso dell'esame orale, inoltre, sarà discussa una relazione prodotta nel corso delle attività esercitative svolte durante il corso.
Lo scritto è strutturato in domande teoriche, formulate in maniera da consentire una risposta sintetica, ed in problemi pratici di calcolo e/o progettuali di componenti ed impianti termotecnici.
