The course has the stated goal of providing adequate knowledge and understanding of fundamental physical laws that govern biomedical processes, and skills in applying knowledge
The aim of this course is to introduce the basic concepts of descriptive statistics , to learn and acquire skills in relation to the collection , the description, the interpretation and the use of probability distributions in an appropriate manner of the data collected on a collective of patients or other experimental units.
This course provides the basic theoretical knowledge about the use of a computer, hardware and software, about the applications of informatics in healthcare settings, as well as providing practical knowledge on the use of an operative system and of the office suite (Word, Excel).
Frontal lessons
Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
Frontal lessons with the active participation of the students in the resolution of problems, tutorials
Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
The exam is normally written , consisting of multiple choice tests and/or exercises
Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.
