LATIN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

Overall analysis of the Latin literature, with an examination of a specific literary genre, through the reading, translation, and philological-stylistic commentary of selected prosaic and poetical texts of Archaic and Classical periods, with prosodic and metric analysis of the poetic language.

Origins, morphology and evolution of Latin elegy as a literary genre.
