HISTORY OF MEDIEVAL ART

Lectures.

1. Iconographic schemes between late antique art and Byzantine art (1 cfu).
2. Development of painting, sculpture, architecture and minor arts from the 5th century to the mid-15th in Italy and Europe (6 cfu).
3. An in-depth analysis between (2 cfu):
- Romanesque in Europe: contexts, itineraries, historiography.
- Medieval iconography in painting and plastic art.
