The course of Surgical Emergency is aimed at knowledge of principals surgicals diseases.
The course aims to train the student on:
- most common anesthetic techniques
- principles of acute and chronic pain therapy
- management of the main cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and environmental emergencies
- principles of disaster medicine
Furthermore, the course aims to teach the student the main resuscitation techniques (BLS, PBLS, ACLS, PHTLS)
