Course Structure

Course is designed for providing students knoledge on the EU political system. The first part is focused on theories of european integration. The second part is focused on the structure of political system, with particular regard to the relations between the executive and the legislative and to the political party system



Detailed Course Content

Intergovernativism vs neo functionalism. Federalism and liberal institutionalism; European Union and the compound democracy model. institutional structure of the European Union; relation between the legislative and the executive in the European Union; political party system in the European Union.
