GREEK AND LATIN GRAMMAR

The course aims to consolidate the knowledge of Greek and Latin grammar rules. Special attention is also paid to the in-depth study of Hellenistic Greek and late Latin by reading a large number of original texts (whose textual aspects are also sometimes examined). Finally, basics on consultation tools (including computer ones) for the study of the two languages are given too.

B. Principles of Greek and Latin grammar (4 ECTS).

In addition to the study of Greek and Latin grammar rules (a handbook for Italian high school can be used for this), post-classical Greek and late Latin will be examined in depth. A basic knowledge of Greek and Latin philology is also required.
