The course has the purpose of: 1) promoting and/or to improving the study of the Spanish literature, presenting some critical tools of close examination and analysis; 2) activating a historical and literary awareness related to the literary genres, to the authors and to the most meaningful texts of the gold centuries; 3) developing the ability of critical reading of literary texts in Spanish language. Besides being fundamental elements for a direct knowledge of the different authors and literary phenomena, the texts will also constitute an essential aid for the improvement of the linguistic competences.
